We had been listening to Mirriam Webster's Word of the Day podcast for the past few weeks. The class enjoyed learning all of these new words. However, they complained that the voice on the podcast was rather "boring" so I had them come up with a suggestion for making it better. Eventually, several students suggested that we do our own Word of the Day. Thus, Ms. Snyder's and Ms. Stappleton's Word of the Day was born. We have even created our own Youtube (yes, Youtube) channel to house all of our work. I hope the classes are excited now about learning new words. Check back often and stay tuned!
