Reading Celebration Update
Dear Parents,
As you all know, the Reading Celebration is coming right after FCAT. Only students who have met their Million Word Campaign will be allowed to attend this exciting celebration. Most of the Reading Celebration will be outside fresh air and refreshing sun. So be sure to check your child’s reading log. Ms. Snyder has the monthly totals posted in the classroom.

Book Logs
Dear Parents,
Your child is expected to have a little book log and a big one. The little book log, or weekly log, is due every MONDAY! They will have to read and log 30 minutes each and every day. Your child will need your initials in the last column. The big book log, or monthly log, is due the first day of each month. The big book log counts as a grade. It is to show how many pages you have read. To get an A, all you need to do is read 450 pages or more. We are having a million word challenge. The student in each home room that reads the most pages wins so keep reading!

Tutoring
Dear Panther Parents,
Is your child struggling in reading or math? Could they use a little extra help? If so, they are welcome to attend tutoring. Math tutoring is Mondays from 2:45 until 3:30 sharp in Mrs. Schermann’s room. Reading tutoring is Monday and Friday morning from 7:40 until 8:20 in Ms. Snyder’s room. I hope to see you there!
