Proper Punctuation
Today in class we learned about our proper punctuation and the efficient definion. We watched a Brain Pop video and then we had a group worksheet. The assignment was to draw the punctuation and define what we use it for. First we defined PERIOD as an end of a declaritive and a imparitive sentence, it is a statement. QUESTION MARK is at the end of an interogative sentence. COMMA are used during a pause or a list with 3 or more items. EXCLAMATION POINT it's to show emotion of exciement and suprise. COLON it introduces something to a sentence. SEMICOLON joins sentences and can replace words. QUOTATION MARKS to show a person's exact words.
